INVITATION FOR BIDS   The Jefferson County Commission is seeking bids for “Household Hazardous Waste Material (HHW) Collection and Disposal”. Bids will be accepted at Bid Express (https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/54427/home) under Project Number 37-25-023 until 10:00 a.m. July 14, 2026. The project includes the identification, packing, pick-up, transportation, and proper disposal of household hazardous waste items. Events are currently scheduled at two simultaneous locations, the third Saturday in October. Consideration is being given to adding an event in June at two locations simultaneously. The contracted Bidder must provide copies or other evidence of all necessary State and Federal licenses or permits required for the transportation and disposal of hazardous waste.   Direct all project related questions via the project solicitation on Bid Express by Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time.
