NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 205 Old Mill Road, Suite 2, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. The hearing concerns the application of Jennifer Arroyo, regarding property located at 313 Orchard Road, Swiftwater, Pocono Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, identified as Parcel No. 12.12A.1.05, and zoned R-1 Low Density Residential. The applicant seeks a dimensional variance from § 470-17C of the Pocono Township Zoning Ordinance to permit a reduction in the minimum side yard setback. The ordinance requires a side yard of 25 feet, and the applicant requests approval to install an in-ground swimming pool with a side yard setback of 8 feet. The Zoning Hearing Board will hear testimony and receive evidence from the applicant and from other persons as permitted by law. The complete application is available for public inspection at the Township office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and copies may be obtained at the cost of reproduction.
