REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR APARTMENT REPAIRS
The Housing Authority of Plainfield is requesting proposals for apartment repairs to be made by licensed contractors for the two housing complexes; Joanne Hollis Gardens and Richmond Towers.
The amount of the contract, which includes labor costs and materials to be supplied by contractors, shall not exceed $100,000.
A detailed scope of services and the general requirements can be obtained from the Housing Authority of Plainfield at 510 East front Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060 between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm., Monday to Friday and please call (908)769-6335 for any questions you may have.
Any interested and qualified individual or company requires experience and knowledge in the both vacant or occupied apartment repair work, shall possess license and current liability insurance including workers compensation.
One original and two copies of the proposal packages are to be included in the submission. All submissions are required to be received on or before 11:00 a.m. on July 16, 2026, by the office of Mr. Randall Wood, Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Plainfield at 510 East Front Street, Plainfield, New Jersey 07060.
The Housing Authority of Plainfield reserves the right to choose the best qualified individuals or companies at a reasonable cost for the Apartment Repair services. The Housing Authority is required to comply with the requirement of PL 1975 C.127. Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Law in accordance with the applicable state and federal regulations.
