Sealed proposals will be received until 1:00 p.m., and to be opened at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday July 2, 2026 at the Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051, 2nd Floor Conference Room 3338, for furnishing all material and completing all the work necessary and required for:

Project Description:
In general, the work consists of interior alterations (architectural, fire protection, mechanical, electrical and plumbing) of part of the existing first floor of the Menomonee Falls Public Library located at W156 N8436 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. Construction shall include the Main Lobby, Check-in, Adult Audio, Copy/Fax, Work Room, Graphics Room, Mail Room, Board Room, Open Office, Corridors and Closets.
The existing Public Library area to be renovated is approximately 9,460 square feet.
Proposals will be accepted for a
“One Lump Sum Bid”
A Pre-Bid Walk Through will be held on June 25th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Menomonee Falls Public Library in the Children’s Program Room located at W156 N8436 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. Attendance at the pre-bid walk through is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
All in accordance with the Contract Documents, including location map and specifications, is on file in the office of the Engineering and Development Department, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
Bidder’s Proof of Responsibility for 2026 is required on all bids. Proof of Responsibility forms are available from the ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT located on the 1st floor of the Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051 or the Village of Menomonee Falls website at www.menomonee-falls.org and must be filed with the Director of Public Works by 4:30 pm the 26th day of June, 2026.
Plans and Specifications will be available at any time after 8:00 am on the 16th day of June, 2026. Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications are available for download at WWW.QuestCDN.com, Quest eBidDoc No. 10224002. Each contract can be downloaded for a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of TWENTY TWO DOLLARS ($22.00). Copies of the Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may also be obtained at the ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OFFICE, located on the 1st floor of the Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051. Each set available at Village Hall can be obtained for a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of FIFTY DOLLARS plus Tax ($50.00+Tax).
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check or bid bond made payable to the Village of Menomonee Falls in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid price as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract within ten (10) days after the award of the contract.
In case the successful bidder fails to execute such contract and provide the required bonds and insurance certificate within the time specified, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid closing.
Bids and proposals must be sealed and addressed to the Village of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. There shall appear on the envelope of each bid and proposal, the name and address of the bidder and the purpose for which the proposal is intended.
No proposal will be considered which is not made out on the regular forms furnished by the Village.
The Village of Menomonee Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any defects or informalities in proposals received and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the Village. The letting of the contract shall be subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin State Statutes.
