CITY OF CUDAHY OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS 2026 ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #2026-02   OWNER/TIME: The City of Cudahy is soliciting bids for road improvements in the City of Cudahy. Bids will be received and accepted via the vbid online electronic bid service through QuestCDN, until Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above time at the City of Cudahy, City Hall, 5050 South Lake Drive, Cudahy, Wisconsin 53110.   The project consists of milling the existing asphalt surface and placing new asphalt pavement on various streets throughout the City of Cudahy. Work will also include the removal and replacement of deteriorated curb and gutter, replacement of sidewalk sections, and upgrades to pedestrian curb ramps to meet current ADA standards. Additional improvements include joint-to-joint concrete pavement repairs at various locations impacted by previous water main breaks and utility repairs. Electronic bids must be submitted on Quest vBid www.questcdn.com for a non-refundable fee of $45.00.   STATUTORY PROVISIONS: The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes, including Section 62.15, 66.0901, 779.14 through 779.16.   BID GUARANTEE: No bid will be received unless a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Cudahy, or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the bid, shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement and a 100% performance bond and payment bond, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award.
