ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
Eric J. Reimer has filed for a variance with the Zoning Board of Appeals under Chapter 122 (Zoning Ordinance) of the Municipal Code. The requested variance is from Section 122-531(a)(1)a &(2) of the Municipal Code pertaining to the residential setbacks of accessory uses and detached accessory structures permitted only in the rear yard, shall not exceed 15 feet in height and the total area of all accessory structures shall not exceed 60 percent of the floor area of the principal building in the Residential District (R-1).

If granted, the variance would allow two (2) existing detached accessory buildings to be allowed in the street yard of a proposed principal structure where the height of the existing accessory buildings exceeds the maximum height of 15 feet with a variance of 18 feet and 9 feet respectfully, and the total square footage of the existing and proposed accessory structures exceeds the 60% of the living area of the proposed principal building with a variance of 4359+/- square feet.
The Zoning Board of Appeals in acting on variations and modifications of the Zoning Ordinance, or appeals from action taken by the Zoning Administrator or Building Inspector, hears all cases at public hearings at which interested persons have a right to be heard. If it is inconvenient to appear at the hearing, file your comments by letter, containing your name and address, stating fully what the comment is and the reason for such comment.
The Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals hereby calls a meeting to be held to consider this matter at the VILLAGE OF MENOMONEE FALLS BOARD ROOM (Room 2245), W156N8480 Pilgrim Road at 5:00 P.M. on July 2, 2026, and should said meeting be canceled or adjourned, the hearing will be adjourned day to day at the same time and place.
