NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO BE
HELD ON JULY 13, 2026
CONCERNING THE PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF BONDS
BY THE BOONSBORO AMBULANCE AND RESCUE SERVICE, INCORPORATED
Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Council of Boonsboro will hold a public hearing in the Town Annex Building, 19 North Main Street, Boonsboro, Maryland 21713 at 7:00 PM ET concerning the proposed issuance by The Boonsboro Ambulance and Rescue Service, Incorporated, a Maryland nonstock corporation ("BARS"), its bonds, notes, or other obligations in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $4,500,000.
Project and Location: The proceeds from the sale of such bonds will be used to finance or refinance the construction, acquisition and equipping of an expansion to the existing station of BARS, which will be located at BARS located at 7619 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland 21713 (the "Project").
The issuance of such bonds by BARS will not constitute a debt or pledge of the faith and credit of the State of Maryland or the Mayor and Council of Boonsboro, and neither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the State of Maryland or any political subdivision thereof, including the Mayor and Council of Boonsboro, will be pledged to the payment of such bonds.
Initial Owner and Principal User: The Project will be owned by BARS and used by BARS in providing rescue services to areas of Mayor and Council of Boonsboro.

Interested individuals wishing to express their views on the proposed plan of financing, including the bonds and the Project, are encouraged to attend the Public Hearing and sign up to speak. Individuals unable to attend may submit written comments in advance to townmanager@townofboonsboro.com.
