The City of Wilmington will receive sealed bids at the Division of Procurement & Records, 5th Fl., Louis L. Redding Bldg., 800 N. French St., Wilmington, DE 19801 for:   25035PW – Porter Water Filter Plant Electrical Upgrade Project   The Porter Water Filter Plant Electrical Upgrade project includes furnishing and installing new electrical equipment to replace existing electrical equipment that has reached the end of its useful life or requires new functionality. The Work includes a medium voltage switchgear, low voltage substation, transformers, motor control centers, motor replacement, variable frequency drives and associated conductors, raceways and ductbanks. Maintenance of plant operations and temporary power is also required. General Construction will be completed as part of future City procurement.   This project is funded by the Delaware Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF): therefore, bidders and the successful contractor must comply with the related Program Requirements. Bidders must follow the “Good Faith Efforts” in providing opportunities to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in preparation of their bids and procurement of construction, supplies, and services. This project is subject to State of Delaware Prevailing Wage Rates regulations and the Davis Bacon Wage Rates, whichever is higher.
