The Town of Marshfield, acting through the Historical Commission, invites sealed bids for exterior restoration work at the Daniel Webster Law Office and Museum, located at 238 Webster Street, Marshfield, Massachusetts. The work generally includes historic exterior restoration consisting of cedar roof replacement, cedar siding and trim replacement, flashing repairs, surface preparation and painting. The building is a National Historic Landmark. All work must preserve its historic character and comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. This procurement is conducted pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 44A through 44H, inclusive, as applicable. General Bids will be opened on July 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the DPW Office (2nd Floor Conference Room), 965 Plain Street, Marshfield, MA 02050.
