PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes the installation of approximately 6,920 linear feet of underground electric distribution line and associated accessories (e.g., manholes and pull boxes) along the existing paved roadway/road shoulder. The proposed activities require disturbance within riparian zones and wetland transition areas. As such, a Flood Hazard Area Individual Permit is required pursuant to the Flood Hazard Area Control Act Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:13) and a Freshwater Wetland General Permit No. 2 (Underground Utility Lines) is required pursuant to the Freshwater Wetlands Protection Act Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:7A).

The Department of Environmental Protection welcomes comments and any information that you may provide concerning the proposed development and site.
