PUBLIC NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED 160-ACRE OIL UNIT (THE "UNIT"):
The NW/4 SW/4 and the SW/4 of NW/4 of Section 17, and the SE/4 NE/4 and the NE/4 SE/4 of Section 18, all in Township 2 North, Range 12 East, Rocky Mountain Field, Jasper County, Mississippi, containing 160 acres, more or less.
Please take notice that beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the hearing room, Suite E, 500 Greymont Avenue, Jackson, Mississippi, the State Oil and Gas Board will hear the Petition of Forza Operating, LLC for authority to directionally drill the Simmons 17-12 No. 1 Well ("the Well") at an exception location on the above-described 160-acre oil unit in order to test all productive intervals down through the Smackover formation, with a full allowable for production. Petitioner is also requesting the integration of all interests in the above-described unit.
Petitioner proposes to directionally drill the Well from an exception surface location approximately 893' from the North line and approximately 1,098' from the East line of said unit. The surface location could vary due to topographical or other conditions. The estimated exception bottomhole location of the directional well will be approximately 734' from the South line and 1,258' from the East line of said unit. The bottom hole location could vary due to geographical or other conditions. The Well will also be located closer to the Liberty Operating Company, LLC – Kiewit 18-9 No. 1 Well than is authorized by Statewide Rules and Regulations. Petitioner is requesting that the unit for the Kiewit 18-9 No. 1 Well be dissolved.
A copy of said Petition is on file in the office of the State Oil and Gas Board, Suite E, 500 Greymont Avenue, Jackson, Mississippi and may be there examined by any persons interested. At said hearing, all interested persons may appear and be heard.
If you intend to contest the docket or request a continuance, you must notify the Board and the Petitioner's attorney of your intention in writing not later than 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Failure to so notify the Board and the Petitioner's attorney shall be a waiver of your right to contest or request continuance.
You are advised the Board may adopt orders concerning a Petition that may differ from the relief requested by the Petitioner and Board will enter such order or orders as in its judgment may be appropriate in accordance with the evidence presented.
