Notice of Public Meeting
The Kitsap County Auditor's Office will hold a public meeting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 to perform tests for Certification of Logic and Accuracy of Accessible Voting Units. This test is in preparation for the August 4, 2026 Primary. The test will be in the ballot processing room in the Kitsap County Auditor's Office at 619 Division Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366 and is open to the public.
Accessible voting units, which enable voters to cast ballots independently and in private, are secure voting devices with audio capabilities and a paper ballot. They become available for use at the Auditor's Office following the test on June 24, and daily, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday from June 25 to July 31.
The AVUs will then be available in the Kitsap County Vote Centers, 8:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2026 and Monday, August 3, 2026 and 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Primary day, August 4. The vote centers are located at:
