CITY OF LITCHFIELD PARK ORDINANCE NO. 26-301 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITCHFIELD PARK, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, DECLARING THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT ENTITLED "LITCHFIELD PARK CITY CODE UPDATES E-BICYCLES AND E-SCOOTERS" A PUBLIC RECORD: AMENDING THE LITCHFIELD PARK CITY CODE BY UPDATING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF ARTICLE 13 – BICYCLES, MOPEDS, GOLF CARTS AND PEDICABS TO CONFORM WITH ARIZONA STATE LAW AND TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL REVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Litchfield Park, Arizona, as follows: Section I. Declaration of Public Record. That certain documents entitled "LITCHFIELD PARK CITY CODE UPDATES E-BICYCLES AND E-SCOOTERS" attached hereto as Exhibit "A," three copies of which are to remain on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby declared to be a public record and said copies are to remain on file with the City Clerk. Section II. In General. The City Code of the City of Litchfield Park, Arizona, Article 13, BICYCLES, MOPEDS, GOLF CARTS AND PEDICABS, to conform with Arizona State Law and to provide additional revisions for in that public record entitled "Litchfield Park City Code Updates E-Bicycles And E-Scooters", attached hereto as Exhibit "A". Section III. Providing for Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance or any part of the City Code adopted herein by reference are hereby repealed. Section IV. Providing for Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof. Section V. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be effective from 30 days after the date written below.
