PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Blooming Grove Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing, and thereafter may vote upon and potentially enact amendments to Ordinance 62, the Zoning Ordinance. If passed, the Ordinance 62 shall be amended and supplemented to regulate the installation of Sea Containers and Moving Containers as follows: 1. Amending Section 303 to define Sea Containers and Moving Containers governed by the Ordinance, including their maximum size. 2. Amending the Schedule of Uses to allow the placement of Sea Containers and Moving Containers in all zoning districts. 3. Amending Section 503.1 to limit the number of storage accessory structures, including moving containers, sea containers, sheds, and garages to four (4) on a parcel of four (4) acres or less, and allowing two (4) additional structures for each additional four (4) acres of land. 4, Adding Section 503.13, allowing Sea Containers and Moving Containers as accessory structures for personal storage (or commercial storage for an approved commercial use), provided that they are not affixed to the land, not serviced by utilities, establishing minimum setbacks, requiring that such Containers are not visible from the roadway and that privacy fencing be installed as required, requiting the painting and maintenance of those Containers, and providing penalties for violations. 5. Adding Section 503.14, allowing Sea Containers and Moving Containers as temporary structures for periods not to exceed eighteen (18) months, requiring temporary use permits, imposing a limit of one container per parcel), and providing penalties for violations. 6. Exempting Moving Containers from fencing and painting, and setback requirements where placed no more than 90 days. The proposed Ordinance is available review at the Township Building during regular business hours, Monday-Friday.
