NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A FOURTH AMENDMENT TO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PALM DESERT AND WVC RANCHO MIRAGE, INC. (FORMERLY STARWOOD) WESTIN DESERT WILLOW VILLAS LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF PORTOLA AVENUE AND WILLOW RIDGE
PROJECT LOCATION: Westin Desert Willow Villas; The project site is located within the Desert Willow Golf Resort, on a portion of Lot 9 of Tract 28451, north of Country Club Drive and east of Portola Avenue
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant, WVC Rancho Mirage, Inc. (formerly Starwood), requests approval of a Fourth Amendment to the Development Agreement for The Westin Desert Willow Villas to amend the term of the agreement. No changes to the approved land uses, site design, development standards, or project entitlements are proposed as part of this amendment.
PUBLIC HEARING: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California, will hold a Public Hearing at its meeting on July 7, 2026. The Planning Commission meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall located at 73510 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, California. Pursuant to Senate Bill 707, this meeting may be conducted as a hybrid meeting allowing public access via teleconference or in person. Options for remote participation will be listed on the Posted Agenda for the meeting at: https://www.palmdesert.gov/government/meetings
