NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING GARDEN CITY, GEORGIA 2040–2045 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Garden City, Georgia, will hold a public hearing to brief the community on the contents of the draft Garden City 2040–2045 Comprehensive Plan Update.   The purpose of this hearing is to provide residents, business owners, and interested parties with an overview of the Plan update, and to provide a formal opportunity for the public to make suggestions, additions, or revisions before its final submission to the Coastal Georgia Regional Commission and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for official review. Public input is vital to ensure the plan reflects the shared vision and goals of the Garden City community.   Next Steps & Submission Following the conclusion of the public comment period and the integration of relevant feedback, the Garden City 2040–2045 Comprehensive Plan Update is scheduled to be submitted to the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC) and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) for official regional and state compliance review.   Get Involved All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and present their comments.
