NOTICE TO BIDDERS   SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by Barrett Township until 10:00 a.m., on July 8, 2026 at the Barrett Township Building, 1200 State Route 390, Cresco PA 18326, for the following Contract:   “2026 Roads Project” on various roads in Barrett Township, Monroe County   1,098 Tons of Wearing Course, PG64S-22, 9.5 mm, SRL-L, 0.0 – 0.3 Million ESALs, 1 ½” Depth 549 Tons of Leveling Course, PG64S-22, 9.5 mm, SRL-L, 0.0 – 0.3 Million ESALs, 90 lbs/sy   All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals shall be marked “2026 Roads Program”. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Barrett Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Amanda Seagraves, at 570-595-2602, Monday thru Friday. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Barrett Township. PA Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be opened and read publicly at the Board of Supervisors Meeting at approximately 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at the Township Building. Pending review, the Board of Supervisors may award the contract at that meeting or at a subsequent public meeting, the date, time, and place of which will be publicly announced when the bids are opened.
