The City of Phoenix Office of the City Engineer Floodplain Management Section, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information for the 0.5-mile section of CAP Wash East located southeast of Carefree Highway and Interstate 17. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) for a project along the CAP Wash East. The CLOMR will result in: • Containment of the 1% annual chance floodplain and floodway within the Project. • No change in the 1% annual chance water surface elevations upstream or downstream of the Project.
