Request for Qualifications Kent Engineering Standards 2026-2027 Design Services City of Kent, County of Portage Response is due no later than 2:00pm on July 09, 2026. The City of Kent is requesting qualifications for professional engineering services for the design of Erin Drive Waterline. The design services include civil engineering, drafting, project management, establishing and tracking milestones, preparing agendas and facilitating meetings. The successful consultant will update city design standards with oversight from three City of Kent Senior Engineers who oversee separate disciplines: water, wastewater and stormwater, and transportation. One Senior Engineer will serve as the overall project manager. The estimated design cost is $104,000. The anticipated design schedule is September 2026 through June 2027. Interested firms are invited to submit three (3) copies of the Letter of Interest to the City of Kent Division of Engineering 930 Overholt Road, Kent, Ohio 44240. Responses are due no later than 2:00pm on July 09, 2026. Late responses will not be considered. Firms may be asked to participate in a 50-minute in-person interview at the City of Kent Engineering Division Conference Room on July 30, 2026. Interviewees should plan no more than 30-minutes for presentations, followed by no less than 20-minutes for questions and dialogue. Following selection, the successful consultant should anticipate submitting a proposal no later than August 5, 2026.
