REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES
MCNALLY PARK MARINE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
CITY OF MOBILE, ALABAMA
The City of Mobile is soliciting qualifications and proposals from qualified engineering and design firms to provide professional engineering design services related to the McNally Park Marine Improvements Project.
The purpose of this project is to design and update a series of marine elements to improve the functionality, resiliency, accessibility, and overall public use of the McNally Park waterfront.
The selected firm will be expected to provide comprehensive professional services, which may include,but not be limited to, preliminary engineering, conceptual design, permitting assistance, cost estimating, construction documents, bid support, any potential grant funding coordination that may arise, and construction administration services as required by the City.
Firms submitting qualifications should demonstrate experience with waterfront and marine infrastructure projects of similar scope and complexity, including knowledge of coastal engineering principles, regulatory permitting processes, environmental considerations, and public recreational waterfront improvements.
Interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications outlining their experience, project approach, technical capabilities, key personnel, and relevant project history.

A Mandatory Q&A meeting will be held online on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 am CST, with a Mandatory Site Visit to follow immediately after. Prime consultant must be present to qualify. Zoom link to meeting and full RFQ on www.cityofmobile.org/bids.
