HEARING DATE: Thu. July 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
PLACE: The Common Council Chambers at the Franklin City Hall, 9229 W Loomis Rd, Franklin, WI 53132.
APPLICANT: Othman Atta, Islamic Foundation of Greater Milwaukee, Inc.
PROPERTY: 10525 West Loomis Road (TKN 846 9998 001), 8800 S. 102nd Street (TKN 846 9987 002), 8910 S. 102nd Street (TKN 846 9987 003) and properties bearing TKNs 846 9987 001 and 846 9987 004.
PROPOSAL: An Ordinance to amend Sec. 15-3.0434 of the Unified Development Ordinance (“UDO”) – Planned Development District (PDD) No. 29 to modify district boundaries and allowed uses and to rezone property located at 10525 W. Loomis Road to PDD No. 29 (Area A) and Floodplain Overlay District.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION
This public hearing is being held pursuant to the requirements of Wis. Stat. § 62.23(7)(d)2. and Section 15-10-06F. of the UDO. A map of the affected property, all application materials and the proposed ordinance are available at the Dept. of City Development at Franklin City Hall. The public is invited to attend the public hearing and to provide input. The proposed ordinance is subject to revisions following public hearing and the further consideration by the Plan Commission and the Common Council.
