NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CITY OF GLENDALE JOB ORDER CONTRACTING for CITY BUILDING FACILITIES CONTRACTING SERVICES Bid No. 42600058 INTRODUCTION The City of Glendale (City) is seeking to establish a Job Order Contract (JOC) for indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity for various construction projects at City owned building facilities. Interested contractors must have the ability to show experience and a proven track record in projects of the same nature and magnitude. All qualified firms interested in providing the required services are invited to submit their qualifications. Responses must comply with the requirements specified in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Glendale is the 6th largest city in Arizona, with an estimated population of 255,000 and a municipal planning area (MPA) of approximately 92 square miles. The City budgets approximately $7 million annually for various construction services including, but not limited to general building construction, electrical, mechanical, and structural installations, interior and exterior enhancements, and various miscellaneous improvements at city building facilities. The JOC contract period will be for an initial term of one (1) year with an option to renew two (2) one-year extensions for a maximum duration of three (3) years. The option to extend will be exercised based on the Contractor’s successful performance, needs of the City and the mutual agreement of both parties. During the term of the contract, work shall be conducted as a series of individual Job Orders. The typical Job Order could range in price from $2,500 to the maximum $2,000,000. A maximum contract amount of $2,000,000 will be established for the initial one (1) year contract period as a total for all Job Orders per Contractor. SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractors will be expected to deliver turn-key projects, including all permitting and compliance with regulatory requirements. This JOC will include work tasks as required to provide general construction job order contracting services citywide on city own building facilities. It may also include work on ancillary facilities within other city owned properties. The specific work requirements will be identified in Job Orders issued by the City. PRE-SUBMITTAL CONFERENCE A pre-submittal conference will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams, Meeting ID: 270 397 377 023 958, Passcode: sh2mR3N7. At this meeting, staff will discuss the scope of work and general contract issues and respond to questions from the attendees. Because City staff may not have time to respond to individual inquiries regarding this JOC opportunity outside of this pre-submittal conference, it is strongly recommended that interested firms have a representative join the pre-submittal conference.
