Application for State Discharge Permit 26DP2394:
Worcester County Commissioners, 1 West Market Street, Room 1103, Snow Hill, Maryland 21863 submitted an application to renew an existing permit to discharge an annual average of 112,000 gallons per day of treated wastewater from the River Run Wastewater Treatment Plant, 11515 River Run Lane, Berlin, Maryland 21811 to groundwaters via spray irrigation.
Per MD Environmental Article § 1–602(a)(2), an EJ score was calculated for this facility. The EJ Score is 22.40. This score has been calculated considering a combination of the following factors: Pollution Burden Percentile, Pollution Burden Environmental Effects Percentile, and Sensitive Population Percentile.
