LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WEST MILFORD PLANNING BOARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That an application has been filed with the Planning Board of the Township of West Milford, County of Passaic, NJ by Twins Realty Group, LLC regarding 937 Burnt Meadow Road, Hewitt NJ 07421 for site plan approval of an amendment of previously approved plans of which phases 1 and 2 were completed but phases 3 and 4 will now be combined into a modified site plan that will add to the south and west of buildings completed during the first two phases. The changes include a front yard setback where 125 feet is required, 160.4 feet was previously approved and 160.7 feet is now proposed; a side yard setback where 75 feet is required, 121.8 was previously approved and 121.8 and 100.4 are now proposed; rear yard setback where 75 feet is required, 403 feet was previously approved and 433 feet is now proposed; building coverage where 35% is maximum, 7.64% was previously approved and 7.57% is now proposed; and minimum gross floor area of each building is 5,000 square feet, 38,433/8,000square feet was previously approved and 46,016 square feet is now proposed. All other parameters remain the same. Previously approved variances include building height variance where 35 feet is the limit and 38.5 feet was previously approved, parking spaces where 76 spaces are required and 16 spaces were approved and 4 loading zones were required and 0 were approved.
The applicant will seek approvals of the amended site plan, any extensions of prior approvals that the board deems necessary and any other variances and approvals that may be determined to be required.
A public hearing has been scheduled for July 9, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the main meeting room of Town Hall at 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ 07480. The application form and plan can be reviewed by request at the West Milford Planning Department office at 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford NJ 07480 (973) 728-2796 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday but summer hours currently apply of 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday and closed Friday. Any meetings that are carried may have new scheduling information that is available from the Planning Department office. At the time the application is heard, you may appear in person or by attorney and offer any comments you have concerning this application.
