Public Notice Notice is hereby given that the Assessment Roll of property subject to taxation in Monroe County is open for inspection at the office of the Chief Assessor, Room 102 , Administration Center, 1 Quaker Plaza, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The office is open during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Any person aggrieved by the assessment on their own property may appeal to the Monroe County Board of Assessment Revision for relief. Any person desiring to make an appeal shall, on or before August 1, 2026 file a standard appeal form with the Monroe County Board of Assessment Revision setting forth: 1. The property code number and the assessment or the assessments by which the property owner feels aggrieved. 2. The address to which the Board shall mail notice of when and where to appear for an appeal hearing, and 3. Any pertinent data as requested on the standard form. No person shall be permitted to appeal from any assessment in any year unless he/she shall first file the necessary appeal form and fees, nor shall any person be permitted to appeal as to any assessment not designated on the appeal form.
