Bids received after this time will not be eligible and will not be opened. The Base Bid includes roadway improvements on Calle Carrosel from NM 273 to Calle Diaz and Calle Obregon from Calle Carrosel to the New Mexico–Texas state line. The work generally consists of demolition, construction of two 10.5-foot travel lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalk, ADA-compliant curb ramps, driveway reconstruction, waterline replacement, and sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation. Additive Alternate Bid No. 1 includes roadway improvements on Calle Obregon from the New Mexico–Texas state line approximately 44 feet into the State of Texas. The work generally consists of demolition, construction of two 10.5-foot travel lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveway reconstruction. Contingency Bid Item – Dewatering Operations. If groundwater is encountered during construction, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to implement the dewatering operations as directed by the Engineer. Payment for dewatering shall be made on a unit-price basis for the actual equipment operating hours of the dewatering pump(s), as verified and approved by the Engineer. No compensation will be made if dewatering operations are not required. Bidder Requirements: A.
