NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   The City Council of Hopewell, Virginia will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building located at 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia, 23860, to receive public comments regarding the following item(s): An ordinance repealing and reenacting Hopewell City Code Secs. 9.41-9.61.   A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for public review at the City Clerk’s Office.   If the public would like to make any comments regarding this public hearing, they may do so by submitting it in writing to the clerk’s office located at 300 North Main Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860 or via e-mail at cityclerk@hopewellva.gov.
