NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bidding proposals will be received at the Office of the Board of Crawford County Commissioners, 112 East Mansfield Street, Suite 304, Bucyrus, Ohio, 44820, until 10:00 A.M. local time, July 16, 2026 at which time and place said proposals will be publicly opened and read for the work to be performed as per specifications of Contract No. CC06 (2026). The work for which proposals are invited will consist of installing longitudinal pavement markings by applying new traffic paint to various county-maintained roadways in Crawford County, Ohio, in accordance with plans and specifications. Project set for completion no later than November 6, 2026 Plans, specifications, and proposal forms are on file in the Office of the Crawford County Engineer and are available for inspection. Contract documents may be obtained at said office M-F 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. or online anytime under the “Bid Documents” section of the Engineer’s Office website (www.crawfordcountyengineer.com). All proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid or a bond for the full amount of the bid, payable to the Crawford County Commissioners in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders must furnish a Certificate of Qualification, which shall be obtained from the Ohio Department of Transportation and is current and appropriate for this type of project. Prevailing wage rates for this project have been predetermined as required by law in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, or to accept any proposal that is deemed most favorable to Crawford County.
