ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   Sealed proposals for the construction of Pinedale Water Service (Materials Only) will be received by Utilities Board of the Town of Odenville (Owner) at 14487 US Highway 411, Odenville, Alabama 35120, (205) 629-5801 until 10:00 a.m., the prevailing time, on August 4, 2026, or by mailing to 14487 US Highway 411, Odenville, Alabama 35120 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities:   11560 L.F. – 8” Ductile Iron Pipe 7400 L.F. – 8” PVC 1300 L.F. – 6” Ductile Iron Pipe 8260 L.F. – 6” PVC   Miscellaneous piping, hydrants, valves, and appurtenances Specifications may be inspected at the Utilities Board of the Town of Odenville and Municipal Consultants, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama and they may be obtained from the office of Municipal Consultants, Inc., 200 Century Park South, Suite 212, Birmingham, Alabama 35226, upon payment of $50.00. Cost of specifications are non-refundable.   All Bidders must be responsible, meeting the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required.   This project is considered a “Public Works” project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders should be familiar with this code.   The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same.
