NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   The Pender County Board of Commissioners Will Hold Public Hearings as Follows:   Date of Hearings: July 13, 2026 Time of Hearings: 8:00 pm Location of Hearings: The public hearing noted will be held in the Hampstead An-nex, located at 15060 S Hwy 17, Hampstead, NC 28443. Road Name Decommissioning:   Pender County UDO (Art.11.3.1 B.(1)) If a private access easement is greater than two hundred (200) feet in length, the affected property owner(s) may petition the county to name the road. A citizen wishes to name their unnamed access easement. This easement is off Island Creek Rd in Topsail township, commissioner district 2. The Pender County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) permits citizens to petition the county to name a road if it is greater than two hundred (200) feet in length.
