LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 7:00 P.M., at the West Rockhill Township Municipal Building, 1028 Ridge Road, Sellersville, PA, 18960, the West Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on an ordinance amending Chapter 450 of the West Rockhill Township Zoning Ordinance by establishing additional regulations for residential accessory structures to prevent unlawful uses. A full text copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection at the Township Municipal Building at 1028 Ridge Road, Sellersville, PA, 18960, the Bucks County Law Library, and the offices of this newspaper, during normal business hours. A summary of the proposed ordinance is set forth below. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE HEARING.
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE WEST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AMENDING CHAPTER 450 OF THE WEST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP CODE (“ZONING”) BY ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO PREVENT UNLAWFUL USES
Article I: Amends Section 450-1604.H(2) to add subsection (d) which establishes a requirement that in the PC, PC-2, PI, VC, and IS zoning districts, any applicant proposing to construct or use a structure as a residential accessory structure must grant a Unilateral Declaration of Covenants in favor of the Township which guarantees that the structure will not be used as living quarters, nor for any commercial purpose, nor for any other use that is not subordinate and customarily incidental to the principal residential use on the property.
Article II: Repealer.
Article III: Severability Clause.
Article IV: Amendment to be effective immediately upon enactment.
