The notice shall require that any objection be filed in writing with the Court within 10 days of the personal service, within 14 days of the mailing of the notice, or within 10 days of the date of the second publication of notice. If you fail to appear and answer the allegations in the petition, the Court may make findings of fact and orders of disposition of the child that will affect your rights as a parent.  You are entitled to counsel in these proceedings and an attorney has been appointed to represent you in this matter.
