LEGAL NOTICE   The following are summaries of ordinances adopted by Canton City Council on June 15, 2026. The complete text of the ordinances may be obtained for 10 cents per page or viewed free at the office of the Clerk of Council in City Hall, 218 Cleve. Ave. S.W., Canton, Ohio 44702, during non holiday weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ordinance No. 94/2026 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into Change Order No. 1 with Northstar Asphalt Inc. in an amount not to exceed $172,509.75 for the Cleveland Ave. NW Paving Project GP 1283 PID 119801. Appropriation Ord. No. 51/2026 is amended by making the supplemental appropriation of $168,748.88 from the Unappropriated Balance of 4554 Cleve Ave NW Paving 12th to 50th Fund. The Auditor is authorized to pay all moral obligations related to this change order that take place prior to the finalization of said change order. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 95/2026 Appropriation Ord. No. 51/2026 is amended by making the supplemental appropriation of $139,645 from the Unappropriated Balance of 5201 Water Works Operating Fund. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 96/2026 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into all professional services contracts for the AEP Bldg. Planning Study and Feasibility Assessment in an amount not to exceed $142,000. Appropriation Ord. No. 51/2026 is amended by making the supplemental appropriation of $142,000 from the Unappropriated Balance of 2175 Comprehensive Plan Implement Fund. Adopted as an emergency.
