WHITESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitestown Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) will hold a Public Hearing during the regular meeting at the Whitestown Town Hall, 8539 Clark Mills Rd, Whitesboro, NY at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 to consider the applications of the following three Applicants:
Michael Wilkosz and Melissa Milham-Wilkosz located at 116 Birchwood Lane, Whitesboro, NY 13492 as they are proposing to construct a 623 square foot front facing 2-stall garage addition to be used for in-law living space. The request was denied due to not meeting the 10-foot minimum side yard setback requirement (as per Town Regulation §200-25 Lot Area and Width, Yard, Build Coverage and Heights). The Applicants will be at 5 feet. Parcel is zoned R-1.
Aviheya Sidorevich located at 32 Plymouth Avenue, Whitesboro, NY 13492 as she is proposing to construct a new 192 square foot storage shed. The request was denied due to not meeting the 10-foot minimum side yard setback requirement (as per Town Regulation §200-26 Accessory Buildings; Number, Height and Location). The Applicant will be at 4.1 to 5 feet. Parcel is zoned R-80.
James Riccardi, Jr. located at 5293 Wilcox Road, Whitesboro, NY 13492 as he is proposing to construct an addition to the existing garage which will measure 16 feet wide, 24 feet deep (384 square feet) to be used for storage. The request was denied due to exceeding the allowable 20-percent lot coverage requirement (as per Town Regulation §200-25 Lot Area and Width, Yard, Build Coverage and Heights). The Applicant exceeds the minimum lot coverage by approximately 10-percent. Parcel is zoned R-80.
