Jay and Colleen have applied for a Variance C(1) under the hardship provisions of the Borough's Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a two-room side addition and the expansion of the existing front porch to the right of the current porch. The proposed improvements will remain within the existing property boundaries and will be constructed in an area previously occupied by a dwelling. The former dwelling was demolished because it could not be reasonably repaired or maintained without incurring exorbitant costs. In addition, we are requesting any other variances, waivers, approvals, and/or ordinance interpretations that may be necessary to permit the proposed improvements. The application and related documents are on file in the office of the board secretary and are available for inspection during regular business hours. Any interested party may appear at the hearing, either in person or through an attorney, and be heard with respect to this application. The Joint Land Use Board will meet on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Borough Hall.
