NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Engineer’s Estimates FOR THE CONNECT COACHELLA CITY PROJECT NO. ST-138 The City proposes to install a Class I Bike path along Grapefruit Blvd between Avenue 48 and Avenue 54 and Class II Bike Lanes on Avenue 54 between Van Buren Blvd and Polk Street (Per Appendix A and B). The selected consultant will be responsible for developing and preparing the final plans, specifications and engineer’s estimates (PS&E) package. Plans are currently 50% complete. Proposals, and amendments to proposals, received after the date and time specified above will be returned to the Offerors unopened. Parties interested in obtaining a copy of the full Request for Proposal may download it from https://www.planitplanroom.com/. This is a two-part submittal. In envelope No.1, offerors shall submit written statements of technical qualifications and describe in detail their work plan for completing the work specified in the Request for Proposal. In a separate, sealed envelope No. 2, offerors shall submit a detailed cost proposal for all services and materials anticipated in completing the project. A detailed cost break-down for each project task and sub-task shall be submitted. The City will short-list one or more firms for further evaluation. The City will only open cost proposals of the Short-listed firms. The City reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject all proposals at its sole discretion. Consultants are encouraged to keep their proposals brief and relevant to the specific work required.
