ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
This project is supported, in whole or in part, by the federal Supplemental Appropriations for Hurricane Helen and Milton. All awarded contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This procurement is subject to the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CFR Part 200). Contractors must adhere to and agree to include all federal clauses in their contracts, including but not limited to: Equal Employment Opportunity, Davis-Bacon Act (prevailing wages), Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards, Clean Air Act and Federal Water Pollution Control Act, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment, Debarment and Suspension.
All work must comply with applicable rules including but not limited to Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) requirements for Supplemental Appropriation (SAHM) projects. The contractor must process active state licenses and maintain specified levels of insurance.

Sealed proposals will be received by the CITY OF APALACHICOLA August 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm, Bid Proposals will be opened immediately and read aloud.

Bid Package Questions may be submitted until July 21, 2026. A Cashier's check or bid bond payable to the CITY OF APALACHICOLA in an amount not less that five (5) percent of the amount of the bid must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract.
