NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by Hamilton Township until 12:00 PM, on July 28, 2026 at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building, P.O. Box 285; 229 Fenner Avenue, Sciota PA 18354, for the following Contract: “2026 Seal Coat Project” on various roads in Hamilton Township, Monroe County 8,100 SY Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course 11,500 lbs. Crack Seal 6,000 lbs. Mastic 30,778 SY Double Seal Coat using #8s 2,140 SY Double Seal Coat using #8s and ¼” 21,295 SY Single Seal Coat using ¼” 23,435 SY Fog Seal All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals shall be marked “2026 SEAL COAT”. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Lawrence Buzzard, Roadmaster at 570-992-7020, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. All bids must provide pricing for every item included in the bid package. This project shall be bid and awarded as a single contract. Hamilton Township reserves the right to reject any bid that does not include all bid items. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Hamilton Township. PA Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be opened and read publicly at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Township Building and, pending review, awarded at the Board of Supervisors Meeting at approximately 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Hamilton Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and may also waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
