Please take notice that on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Rumson
Municipal Building, 80 East River Road, Rumson, New Jersey, the Zoning Board of
Adjustment of the Borough of Rumson will hold a public hearing on the application of Cyril & Erica Goddeeris at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
The location of the premise in question is in the R-1 Zone as shown on the Borough Tax Map, Block 119, Lot 6 and commonly known as 15 Heathcliff Road, Rumson, New Jersey.
The Applicant is applying for approval to construct a backyard pavilion, outdoor kitchen and pool patio. Variance relief is requested for: maximum generator setback from the house of 49.5 feet, whereas 25 feet is the maximum permitted; maximum building coverage of 6,064 SF, whereas 5,671 SF is existing and 5,352 SF is the maximum permitted; and maximum lot coverage of 15,381 SF, whereas 17,585 SF is existing and 14,031 SF is the maximum permitted.
The Applicant requests that the application be deemed amended and the Board grant any additional approvals, waivers or variances determined to be necessary in the review and processing of this application.
All persons interested in this application will be given ample opportunity to be heard at the above. A copy of the application and supporting documents are on file at the Rumson Municipal Building, 80 East River Road, Rumson, New Jersey and can be examined on the Borough Website (www.rumsonnj.gov) under the "Government" tab, then selecting "Zoning Board".
