NOTICE INVITING BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Hesperia will receive sealed bids on or before 10:00 a.m. on July 20,2026 via the Public Purchase bidding platform for traffic signal materials for the Traffic Signal- Seventh Avenue and Sequoia Street, C.O. 7173. Bids will be opened and publicly read immediately thereafter at City Hall located at 9700 Seventh Avenue Hesperia, CA and virtually via Microsoft Teams. MATERIAL DESCRIPTION: Materials for the Traffic Signal- Seventh Avenue and Sequoia Street including, but not limited to; traffic signal poles, mast arms, luminaires, signal heads, signage, pedestrian push-buttons and poles, pedestrian heads, and associated materials. The materials, specifications and bid forms for the signal materials are available through the Public Purchase website at www.publicpurchase.com. Bidder registration with the City’s portal is free. Bids shall be submitted in conformance with the Request for Bid (RFB) documents as provided by the Engineering Division of the City of Hesperia. Bids and accompanying documents must be submitted electronically through Public Purchase. The required materials shall meet the domestic requirements of the Buy America Act as applicable. Bidder shall indemnify the City of Hesperia from any loss, liability and expenses arising out of bidder’s failure to comply with Buy America requirements. In the event that the bidder seeks a statutory waiver pursuant to 23 CFR 635.410, the bidder may not rely on the anticipated issuance by FHWA of such waiver to show compliance with Buy America requirements. DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE: The City strongly encourages participation from small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract satisfactory to the City of Hesperia. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part(s) thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bid process, and to make a contract award in the best interest of the City.
