CITY HALL WALL MURALS
The City of Sheboygan is planning some restoration work to the planter, staircase and utility enclosure walls on the North, East and West sides of Sheboygan City Hall and is considering the addition of artistic murals to the wall spaces to be restored as an option to replacement of the grey rectangular concrete tiles.
The necessary preparation of the wall areas will be performed by others under a separate contract. The Sheboygan Common Council will be presented with options for the refinishing of the surfaces with either new rectangular concrete tiles or artistic murals.
Should the option of murals be chosen, the artist must present to the Common Council sketches of the proposed murals for the various areas for consideration and final approval by the Common Council. All murals proposed and approved are to be appropriate for a public building. Murals having a “Sheboygan” theme celebrating the rich history and culture of the City are suggested. Artist shall include sketches of possible murals with their proposals as an example. The City of Sheboygan reserves the right to request modifications of the submitted sketches with the selected vendor.
Proposals in electronic format, will be received by the City of Sheboygan, in the office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall 828 Center Avenue, Suite 205 Sheboygan, WI 53081 until 1:00 P.M., Local Time, Wednesday August 5 ,2026 for the design and installation of wall murals on exterior surfaces in the front of Sheboygan City Hall 828 Center Avenue, Sheboygan WI 53081

No Proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled due date without the consent of the City of Sheboygan. Proposals will be submitted electronically in a single pdf format addressed to: Bernard.rammer@sheboyganwi.gov
The City of Sheboygan is exempt from Federal Excise and State Sales Tax.
The City of Sheboygan reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, cancel this solicitation in whole or in part, waive informalities in the bidding process, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Sheboygan.
