NOTICE FOR ROOFING CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION
RFQ2026-063
The St. Johns County School District hereby announces its intention to obtain Roofing Contractor Prequalification for administrative building located at 40 Orange Street St. Augustine, FL 32084.
This project involves the replacement of a 100+ year-old barrel tile roof on a three-story building in historic downtown St. Augustine, constructed as the city’s school in 1909 / 1910, which now serves as the SJCSD Administrative Headquarters.
Contractors seeking the opportunity to submit for RFQ 2026-063, which is specific to the roof replacement of the administrative building located at 40 Orange Street, must already be listed on the SJCSD Prequalified Contractors List at the following link:

Contractors who are not prequalified with St. Johns County School District must complete a Contractor Prequalification Packet. Contractor Prequalification Packets can be requested by emailing:
facilities_admin@stjohns.k12.fl.us Complete Prequalification Packets must be submitted prior to RFQ response deadline or a complete prequalification packet must accompany RFQ response to be eligible.
The Request for Qualification, which includes instructions for completion of responses and the selection process may be obtained online at: www.myvendorlink.com
All responses (to include two (2) signed original, and one (1) thumb drive of the complete RFQ response in one pdf document) must be sealed in one envelope and clearly marked on the outside: “Response to Request for Qualifications: RFQ2026-063 Roofing Contractor Prequalification for 40 Orange Street Roof Replacement”.
Mail or otherwise deliver to: St. Johns County School District, Facilities & Operations, 3740 International Golf Parkway, Suite 200, St. Augustine, FL 32092. All responses must be received on or before 1:30 PM EDT on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Proposals received after the Due Date will not be considered.
The St. Johns County School Board reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive informalities and minor irregularities, and to request resubmission or additional information which is considered to be in the best interest of the School District.
Note: Certain rights are granted to you under Florida Law, and we are required by that law to notify you that if you are going to file a protest that, "Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes."
