TOWN OF HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FLORIDA NOTICE OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION   The Town of Howey-in-the-Hills will hold a General Municipal Election on November 3, 2026, for the purpose of electing three (3) Town Councilors. The seats to be filled at this General Municipal Election are Seat Number 1, Seat Number 2, and Seat Number 3. The three (3) Council Member seats for this election are for four-year terms. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, a registered voter, a resident of the Town for at least one year prior to the first day of the qualifying period, must not have a prior felony conviction, and must not have a family member currently holding seat on the Council. The candidate qualifying period will be from 12:00 p.m. noon, August 3, 2026, through 12:00 p.m. noon, August 14, 2026. The voting precinct for the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills is: Marianne Beck Li-brary - Comm. Rm., 112 W. Central Ave., Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida 34737. The polls shall be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on said date. The election shall be held in accordance with the Charter of the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, and the State of Florida Election Laws.
