NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting of the Redding City Council on July 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers located at 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California, the City Council of the City of Redding (City) will hold a Public Hearing to consider proposed adjustments to the City’s Schedule of Fees and Service Charges. California Government Code Sections 66016 and 66018 require that a Public Hearing be held prior to a proposed levy of, or increase in, municipal fees and service charges. Most of the adjustments proposed are based on a 2.82 percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for mid-size Western cities for the 12-month period of Mar 2025 through Mar 2026 and based on a 2.44 percent increase in the Construction Cost Index for the 12-month period of May 2025 through May 2026. The public is invited to examine and comment on the draft document. During normal business hours, a copy of the Proposed Adjustment to the Schedule of Fees and Service Charges is available for review in the City Clerk’s Department, Third Floor, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California, during normal business hours. The public comment period will run from July 11, 2026, through July 21, 2026. All comments received during this period will be considered prior to the submittal of the Proposed Adjustment to the Schedule of Fees and Service Charges.
