The City of New Smyrna Beach Public Notice Municipal Primary and General Elections NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of New Smyrna Beach Municipal Election will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the purpose of electing the following officers: OFFICES TO BE FILLED Mayor (2-year term) City Commissioner, Zone 1 (4-year term) City Commissioner, Zone 2 (4-year term) Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Qualified electors residing within the City of New Smyrna Beach may vote for the offices and ballot questions for which they are eligible. Only qualified electors residing within the City of New Smyrna Beach shall be entitled to vote in the Municipal Election for the offices and ballot questions for which they are lawfully eligible. VOTER REGISTRATION AND VOTE-BY-MAIL DEADLINES The voter registration deadline for the August 18, 2026, Primary Election is July 20, 2026. The voter registration deadline for the November 3, 2026, General Election is October 5, 2026.
