LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, on July 1, 2026, Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Company d/b/a CenterPoint Energy Indiana South ("CEI South") and the City of Boonville, Indiana ("Boonville") (collectively "Joint Petitioners") filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission ("Commission") a Verified Joint Petition requesting an Order from the Commission: 1) approving the Joint Petitioners' Asset Purchase Agreement ("APA") by which CEI South would acquire Boonville's remaining nonsurplus electric utility assets and facilities (the "Boonville Assets") that are used by CEI South to provide electric utility services within and around Boonville pursuant to Ind. Code ch. 8-1.5-2; (2) permanently transferring Boonville's former electric service territory to CEI South; (3) permitting CEI South to record for ratemaking purposes, as net original cost rate base, an amount equal to the full purchase price of the Boonville Assets, incidental expenses related thereto, and other costs of acquisition, pursuant to Ind. Code § 8-1.5-2-6.1(f); and (4) granting any other necessary relief related thereto.
