SOLICITATION FOR CONTRACTORS  The Housing Authority of the County of Erie, Weatherization Program, is seeking qualified Heating & Plumbing Contractors to perform furnace retrofit/modification/replacement services on electric, gas and oil-fired heating systems and small plumbing repairs within Erie County. All eligible contractors must have Manufacturer’s and Contractor’s Liability Insurance (including Completed Work Coverage), with a minimum coverage of $500,000 combined coverage, which shall include $500,000 for each occurrence and $100,000 for property damage, and Worker’s Compensation. Contractors will be required to provide the Authority with a Performance and Payment Bond prior to commencement of work and a Maintenance Bond at the close of the contract period. The Contractors attention is called to the Equal Opportunity Clause (Executive Order 11246), Civil Rights Provision Clause (Title VI) of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352); Executive Order 11063 Clause, as amended, Section Order 11652 Clause (Minority Business Enterprises); Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and Section 504 Handicapped Clause.
