NOTICE INVITING BIDS
RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Proposals will be received for the work described below, online only, through www.questcdn.com or https://parks.nv.gov/news (QuestCDN project number: 10276327) until 11:00 AM PST on Thursday August 6, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. There is a $42 fee to QuestCDN to submit an online bid.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project shall include but not limited to: Provide labor and materials to replace septic tank, leach field and appurtenances for as well as necessary earthwork, as described in the project documents entitled “WASHOE LAKE STATE PARK RV DUMP STATION SEPTIC SYSTEM AT WASHOE LAKE STATE PARK, WASHOE COUNTY, NEVADA.” Other associated or incidental work as shown or specified in the Contract Drawings and specifications.
QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Prospective bidders shall at the time of bid opening, possess a valid contractor’s license of the appropriate class for the scope of work issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board, be registered and in good standing with the Nevada Secretary of State, and provide verifiable documentation and references of at least three similar projects completed successfully.
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under this contract shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days after the date of commencement as stated in the Notice to Proceed.
OPENING OF PROPOSALS: The Bid Proposals shall be publicly opened and read at 11:00 AM PST on Thursday August 6, 2026, at the Nevada Division of State Parks, 901 S. Stewart Street, Suite 1001, Carson City, Nevada 89701. Bidders will be given a virtual meeting link to join remotely if requested.

PROPOSAL GUARANTEE: Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid Price, payable to the Nevada Division of State Parks, as a Guarantee that the bidder, if his proposal is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure the necessary insurance, furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, and furnish a labor and material bond in the amount of 100 percent of the bid price.
WAGE RATES: As required by Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 338 and the United States Government, bidders are hereby notified that no less than the general prevailing wage rates, including rates for overtime and holiday work, in the locality in which the work is to be performed, for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the work contemplated under the Contract as determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada and the U.S. Department of Labor, shall be paid to all workmen employed on said work by the Contractor or by a subcontractor performing any part of said work. A listing of the minimum wage rates in effect is included in the General Conditions of the Specifications.

PRE-BID: All bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting on July 27, 2026, at 10:00 am at Washoe Lake State Park, 4855 Eastlake Blvd. Carson City, NV.
Questions: shall be submitted in writing via the QuestCDN website listed above on or before July 30, 2026, at 1:00pm. Answers will be provided via an addendum (if appropriate) in writing and posted to the QuestCDN website.
