NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS REGARDING DETERMINATION TO ISSUE BONDS OF THE METROPOLITAN SCHOOL DISTRICT OF DECATUR TOWNSHIP, MARION COUNTY, INDIANA   The taxpayers of the Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township, Marion County, Indiana (the “School Corporation”), are hereby notified that on July 14, 2026, the Board of Education of the School Corporation (the “Board”), adopted a resolution which determined that the School Corporation will issue one or more series of general obligation bonds of the School Corporation, payable out of ad valorem property taxes collected by the School Corporation on all taxable property within the geographical boundaries of the School Corporation, to be designated “Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township, Marion County, Indiana, General Obligation Bonds, Series 20__ (to be designated with the year of issuance)” (the “2026-2030 General Obligation Bonds”) in an original aggregate principal amount not to exceed Twenty Million Six Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($20,605,000) (less the aggregate principal amount of first mortgage bonds issued by the Decatur Township Multi-School Building Corporation to pay for costs of the 2026-2030 District-Wide Long-Term Capital Maintenance and Equipment/Vehicle/Bus Acquisition Project, as described and defined in the resolution adopted by the Board on March 10, 2026), with each series having a final maturity ending no later than twenty (20) calendar years after such series is issued, and bearing interest at a rate or rates producing a yield not exceeding seven percent (7.00%), the exact rate or rates to be determined by negotiated sale with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, or its successor.
