NOTICE OF A DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING

A Design Public Hearing will be held by MassDOT to engage the community in the design of the Powder Point Bridge Replacement project in Duxbury, MA.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
PURPOSE: MassDOT will be hosting a Design Public Hearing on the Powder Point Bridge Replacement Project. The purpose of this hearing is for the MassDOT project team to present progress on the early design concepts. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments after the presentation. All views and comments made at the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible. None of the designs presented at the hearing are final and construction is not taking place at this time.
PROPOSAL: The proposed project consists of designing a replacement bridge that meets current design standards. MassDOT is hosting this hearing to present early design concept ideas.
This location is accessible to people with disabilities.
